Disaster Relief
Donation Needs
St. Peter’s had been serving as the primary collection point for donations within the Southeastern District. As the needs have changed, we have moved to supporting the Multi-Agency Donation Warehouse (MAW) that has been set up to receive and distribute items, so we are no longer serving as a collection point for donations.
Volunteer Needs
If you would like to volunteer in the areas most affected by the hurricane, please visit the LCMS Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT) website to signup. All LERT volunteers must undergo a background check before participating. You can do this when you sign up for a volunteer event, or you can do so ahead of time.
Housing Volunteers
St. Peter’s is uniquely blessed with large facilities and team of volunteers who are gifted in hospitality. Whenever there is a LCMS Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT) deployment at our church, we will be host volunteers and provide meals, showers, and laundry facilities.
Financial Donations
While St. Peter’s will accept financial donations, we would prefer to have all financial gifts donated through the Southeastern District Disaster Response Team on their website.
