Holy Communion

Since our church feels a Biblically founded stewardship regarding the Lord’s Supper, we ask that you prayerfully consider these truths. Baptized Christians who have been instructed in the Lord’s Supper and share the faith in Christ we proclaim are welcome to the Lord’s table.

+ I know that I am a sinner in thought, word and deed and from my heart I repent (turn from) all my sins against God and man, intending to amend my sinful life.

+ I believe that Jesus Christ is my only Lord and Savior from sin through His death and resurrection for me.

+ I have been baptized into the Triune God.

+ I believe that the Risen Christ is really present in the Sacrament and that with the bread and wine I receive His true Body and Blood.

If you choose not to receive the sacrament, feel free to remain seated. If you are unable to come to the altar rail, please alert an usher who will notify the Pastor who will serve you in your pew. Children who have not received instructions are invited to come forward for a blessing. Grape juice is available for those with allergies or other concerns.

Blessings, Kevin Graudin, Pastor – St Peter’s Lutheran Church
